Panacea Dental is a general dental practice at 105 Clappison Ave #103 in Waterdown, providing family, cosmetic, restorative and orthodontic treatment for patients of every age. We are currently accepting new patients.
Appointments that fit around work
We are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Those evening and Saturday hours exist for a practical reason: the most common thing that stops people getting dental care is not cost, it is not being able to take a morning off work. What a first visit involves
A first appointment is an examination rather than a sales pitch. We check the teeth, gums and soft tissues, take radiographs where they are needed to see between teeth and below the gumline, and then explain what we found in plain terms. If treatment is needed you will be told what it is, why it is needed, what it costs and what happens if you wait. If nothing needs doing, we will tell you that too. See your first visit.
If you are in pain today
Call 289-408-5100 as early in the day as you can. We hold time for urgent problems and will make every effort to see you the same day for toothache, swelling, a broken tooth or a knocked out tooth. Our emergency dental care page sets out what to do in the meantime, including the steps that genuinely matter in the first hour after a tooth is knocked out.
Cost, insurance and the CDCP
Fees are discussed before treatment starts. We accept most insurance plans and will always attempt to bill your insurer directly so you pay only the remaining portion, and we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit and cheque. For larger treatment we can send a predetermination so the covered amount is confirmed in writing first. We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan for eligible patients. Treatment we provide
Routine cleanings and hygiene and family dentistry. Fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and implants to repair and replace teeth. Whitening, veneers and bonding. Invisalign and braces.
