Accepting New Patients in Waterdown
Panacea Dental is accepting new patients of all ages at our Waterdown office. Evening and Saturday appointments available, most insurance plans accepted, and we are a Canadian Dental Care Plan provider.
Joining the Practice
Finding a new dentist is one of those tasks that sits on a list for months. We have tried to make the first step as low friction as possible. Call 289-408-5100 or request an appointment online, and our team will find a time that works around your schedule rather than only around ours.
We see families, children, adults and seniors, and we are located at 105 Clappison Ave #103 in Waterdown, serving patients from Waterdown, Burlington, Flamborough and the surrounding area.
What Your First Visit Involves
- A full examination. We check your teeth, gums, bite and existing dental work.
- X-rays if needed. We take only what is clinically necessary, using low dose digital imaging.
- An oral cancer screening. Part of every examination, not an extra.
- A conversation. We tell you what we found in plain language, what is urgent, what can wait, and what it will cost. You leave knowing where you stand.
- A cleaning, where time and your examination allow.
Our first visit page goes into more detail, and our office FAQ answers most practical questions about appointments, payment and policies.
If You Have Not Been to a Dentist in a While
This is more common than most people assume, and it is nothing to be embarrassed about. Cost, time, a bad experience years ago, or simply life getting in the way. All of it is normal.
What we will do is assess where things stand today and put together a plan that is realistic, prioritised and paced in a way you can actually manage. Urgent problems first, everything else in a sensible order. What we will not do is lecture you.
Insurance, Payment and the Canadian Dental Care Plan
We accept most major insurance plans and can submit claims electronically on your behalf, so you are not out of pocket waiting for reimbursement any longer than necessary. We are also a Canadian Dental Care Plan provider.
See our CDCP page for who qualifies and what is covered, and financial arrangements for payment options.
Transferring From Another Dentist
Tell us who your previous dentist was and we will request your records and X-rays for you. There is no need for an awkward phone call on your part, and there is no cost to transfer.
